60. College football, now that I kind of understand it. (But really I just like knowing what all the letters on the referee shirts mean.)
59. I like the snapping of new shampoo bottle lids.
58. I love the city still.
57. I love index cards and I like making lists on them. Especially big ones, and in pencil.
56. "Arrested Development." Best show ever.
55. I like my handwriting, depending on the writing implement I'm using and the thickness of the paper. Fronts of new pages are better than backs. But I always like how I write the letter "s" in script at the end of words.
54. I like when I've walked around neighborhoods enough to piece them together, figuring out where one stops and the other starts. And I like landmarks. I like this best in a foreign city like Paris or Florence. It makes me feel residential.
53. I like bare trees covered in white lights.
52. I like the smell of pine when it comes from trees in the city all lined up on the sidewalk to be bought for Christmas.
51. I like bars whose façades are made of wood and painted red or green.
50. Even though it puts me to sleep, one of my favorite noises is slowly moving water. When I'm lifeguarding and someone is swimming slowly and gently, the rippling and tricking water sound is my favorite.
49. I like getting my hair cut. If it grew faster I would do it much more often.
48. Wintertime and ice skating and Christmassy things, even when it feel less like Christmastime.
47. I like when being kissed just the right way makes me want to cry.
46. I really like my wrist bones. In fact, they may very well be my favorite bones.
45. (November 25, 2005) Today in choir the bass and tenor sections sang this one part of the last chorus and it sounded so beautiful that I felt like getting emotional.
44. I like when classes I don't particularly fancy end early.
43. I like the L Magazine.
42. I like riding in the passenger seat of cars and watching the side view mirrors. Stationary car, receding scenery. Watching the past while you move forward. It reminds me of road trips, movie scenes and sunsets.
41. I like drinking out of water bottles continuously until it starts to crumple in my hand and my thumb and fingers touch.
